DFW Biodiesel, Inc. is closing business, effective February, 2010.
On December 31, 2009, the federal tax credit to build production of biodiesel, expired before Congress could vote to renew it. Without the tax credit, biodiesel is not competitive in fuel markets, and many biodiesel producers have shut down. For you, our loyal customers, this means biodiesel supplies have dried up, and we are unable to purchase a quality, affordable product to provide at our pumps.
With deep regrets, we are closing our facility for good. We thank you for your patronage and support of biodiesel over the past five years. It has been our honor to serve you, and provide you the choice of clean-burning, non-toxic, biodegradable, domestically produced biodiesel.
